You can see it on all the beaches of the world and it has already thousands of practitioners, it is the Wing, an inflatable wing that you hold in your hand that allows you to take advantage of the wind while standing on a floating board. better if equipped with hydrofoil (that's why it's called WingFoil).
The Wing Foil allows you to sail free, light, be carried by the wind and have fun between the water of the sea or lake and the sky.
The equipment needed to practice the WingFoil is easy to assemble at the beach. It does not take up space in the car, all you need is a board, the inflatable sail and the foil to mount on the board. It is an easy and accessible sport, a few knots are enough to fly over the water.
The Maccagno Spot on Lake Maggiore
Lake Maggiore is probably one of the best and safest places to learn or progress with Wingfoil. Maccagno is a town of 2,041 inhabitants in the province of Varese, it can be reached from Varese, Lugano or Locarno in less than an hour.
The wind comes from the north in the morning with a good intensity and from the south lighter in the afternoon, is an ideal spot to learn. In our courses there is always a safety boat to accompany our students.
